A great gadget for runners and hikers. If you have an IPod, this is a great add on. Keeps track of time and distance, and you don’t really need special shoes, taping the sensor to your laces works just fine. Available at Cleves Source For Sports. |

This is the product I use in my car to find various destinations. It is very simple to use and quite accurate. It isn’t cheap but is well worth the money if you’re in the market for an easy to use car GPS system. |

The camera I use is an earlier model of this type. It is extremely fast, portable and easy to use. It has built in settings for every situation, and it is quick and easy to immediately get the perfect setting for each situation. I dropped it to the bottom of Wooden’s River in January and after a polar bear dip, it`s still going strong! |

A rain jacket is a must have for any outdoor adventure. This is a great one because it is both waterproof and breathable, meaning you stay dry from the rain, but also dry from letting your body breathe. It is durable and won’t tear when you catch it on a branch, like a cheap rain jacket will. A must have for spring in Nova Scotia Available at MEC |

I received this hat as a Christmas gift, and it has come to my rescue 4 times, and counting. The LED’s are as bright as your average flashlight, and the battery has lasted me 2 years. When a flashlight isn’t handy, or you want to keep your hands free, this thing is ideal. It’s led the way on some hazardous night time adventures. |
